Main Hall
Our main hall is 16.5 metres long by 10.5 metres wide and able to seat 180 in theatre format or 140 in formal dining. We have the tables and chairs for your use.
The hall is equipped with staging, lighting and a PA system. The hall has shutters which open to reveal a service area from the kitchen and a separate service area from the bar.
There are four double patio doors leading to a terrace area running the full length of the hall which overlooks the lawn and the open countryside beyond.
Wifi internet access is available throughout EKVH.
There is disabled access, disabled toilets and a hearing loop.
Verity Room
The Verity Room is our second room and is 10 metres by 6 metres. It can accommodate 50 people in theatre format or 40 seated at tables, and has a shuttered service hatches to the kitchen and bar areas.
The room has a 120" HD Projector Screen
Kitchen
Our kitchen and catering area is a generous 6 metres by 5.5 metres and includes serving hatches to both the Main Hall and Verity Room.
The kitchen is equipped with gas hobs, gas ovens, a commercial standard microwave, hot water urn and kettles, as well as a floor standing refrigerator and seperate freezer. There is a commercial standard dishwasher with a 4 minutes wash cycle.
The kitchen is fully stocked with matching plates in two sizes, bowls, cups and saucers.
Cutlery, cruets, tea pots, coffee pots and water jugs are also provided.
Bar
Adjacent to the kitchen and with a service hatch to the Main Hall and the Verity Room, our bar area is 5.2 mts x 3.35 mtrs. It is available for all events, with the exception of children's parties.
You are welcome to use our fridges and maybe negotiate the use of a hand pump to dispense real ale.
The bar is well stocked with pint, half pint, wine, sherry and champagne glasses. In addition there is a commercial standard glass washer with a 2 minute wash cycle.
The options of the bar operation can be discussed with the Events Manager
