COVID19 Bulletin – March 2021

Welcome to our latest bulletin, designed to keep our users and supporters fully informed on all matters concerning your Village Hall.

This will be updated to take into account changes as they occur.

Following the Governments most recent announcement regarding the ‘Road map’ out of the Coronavirus, the Trustees are in agreement that we should re-open in a cautious and gradual manner, preferring to move forward all the time.

We are particularly aware of the legal responsibilities of the Trustees so we need to ensure that it really is safe to re-open for social activity before doing so.

Current lockdown restrictions will remain in place until 11th April. This means the VH will remain closed to group activities and all pre-booked events

From the 12th April the commercial hires will be allowed to return in line with government guidelines

We will continue to be as flexible as possible in our support of the people who had previously booked their event with us and who have had to make many changes before finally being able to go ahead, subject to the ongoing Governments reviews.

As bookings for July & August are generally considered to be low due to the holiday period, we will be giving priority to honour the bookings we already have. This is being managed on an ongoing basis and as the opportunity for these events is restricted some may take place mid-week as well as at weekends

All local village clubs and new interested parties will be invited to return or join us from the beginning of September without restrictions. The hire rates will remain the same as last year

We very much look forward to being able to operate

‘as normal’ and, to the day when we can start to put

COVID 19 behind us

In the meantime, we remain cautious but hopeful and trust you and your family remain safe and well.
