East Keswick Village Hall has recently teamed up with Utility Aid to carry out an Independent Energy Audit, marking an important step in the hall’s journey towards sustainability.
The audit assessed the hall’s current energy use and carbon footprint, providing a clearer picture of how resources are being consumed. The findings will be used to shape a cost-effective plan to reduce energy use, cut emissions, and set out a sustainable framework for future investment.
Importantly, any savings generated can be reinvested into further improvements, ensuring the hall continues to evolve as an energy-efficient, environmentally responsible community hub.
This initiative forms part of East Keswick Village Hall’s commitment to working towards Net Zero and tackling climate change while keeping the facility affordable and welcoming for all.
